Classes

Group classes give students of all ages a joyful, age-appropriate way to learn music with friends. Our youngest musicians start in playful music-and-movement based classes that gently build focus, coordination, and listening skills.

Older beginners and returning students are welcomed into our Way Cool Keyboard Class, an upbeat group piano experience where they learn to play chords, read lead sheets, play fun songs they know!

Beginning choir class is perfect for students who love to sing and want to explore their voices in a fun, supportive group

Opportunities for students

Students may opt In or out for many events throughout the year.

Events range from fun learning events such as parties, camps & music performance times to higher level competitions against other music students.

Students have opportunities to perform for one another on a regular basis.

Performance anxiety … what is that? Our students learn that performing is fun

Private Lessons

We have a limited number of openings for online private piano students each year. Private lessons at Jack’s School of Music are taught exclusively online, and I personally help families get their tech set up so everything feels smooth and stress-free.

We’ve been successfully teaching online since the beginning of the pandemic, and it’s far more than a camera pointed at the piano. We use multiple camera angles, on-screen annotation, engaging activities, video exchanges, interactive software between lessons plus more to keep students supported and progressing until the next lesson. Check out a few of our online families in our Google reviews.

In our studio, group classes are the heart of what we do—they build a strong internal beat and listening skills as students play together, just like they do in a band or orchestra environment. Private lessons are a great option for the right student: someone ready to practice regularly, who will thrive with one-on-one attention in addition to (or after) group study. If that sounds like you or your child, click the button below to apply for private lessons so we can chat further and see whether a private spot is the best musical fit.
