  A: Yes! Most students participate in my engaging in-person group classes at my Beaumont studio. I also work with a limited number of online private piano students as space allows.

  A: Practice Space gives students extra support between lessons. They send me short practice videos, and I provide personalized feedback to encourage consistent progress throughout the week.

  A: Music for Little Mozarts is an engaging preschool and early elementary music class where children learn through singing, movement, rhythm games, listening, and hands-on piano exploration. Young musicians build a strong musical foundation while developing beat, listening skills, keyboard awareness, and a lifelong love of music—all while having an incredible amount of fun!

• Q: What is Super Kool Keyboarding?

  A: Super Kool Keyboarding is an exciting group piano class where students learn to play together like a piano orchestra. They develop strong rhythm, music reading, keyboard skills, and confidence while playing fun ensemble music, backing tracks, and lead sheets. Students learn to listen to one another, feel the beat, and experience the joy of making music as a team.

  A: The Children's Choir is a special program offered periodically at Jack's School of Music. Young singers develop healthy vocal technique, musicianship, confidence, and performance skills while enjoying fun, age-appropriate songs in a joyful, encouraging group setting.

  A: Online lessons use clear camera angles and live interaction — just like being in the studio!

• Q: What is the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) Festival?

  A: The National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) Federation Festival, also known as the Gold Cup Festival, is a nationally recognized music event that celebrates each student's individual growth and achievement. Students prepare piano solos—and many also choose to take a music theory test—before performing for an experienced adjudicator. Instead of competing against other students, each performance is evaluated against a standard of excellence. Every participant receives written comments highlighting strengths and offering suggestions for continued growth. Students also earn points toward beautiful National Gold Cup trophies, as well as ribbons and certificates that recognize their musical accomplishments year after year.

• Q: What special events and performance opportunities do you offer?

  A: Jack's School of Music is about much more than weekly lessons! Throughout the year, students enjoy recitals, the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) Festival, piano camps, in-person piano parties, online piano practice parties, and a variety of special studio events. These experiences give students opportunities to perform, play music together, strengthen their musical skills through engaging games and activities, build lasting friendships, and celebrate their progress in a fun, encouraging community.

  A: Every class is thoughtfully designed using a variety of engaging, age-appropriate materials that help students become confident musicians. We use quality piano curriculum, Theory Time books, educational technology, rhythm games, hands-on learning activities, and my own published piano music and arrangements. Students also enjoy creative movement, music theory, and interactive activities that strengthen music reading skills, rhythm, listening, creativity, and confidence—all while making music fun, meaningful, and engaging.

  A: Jack's School of Music is conveniently located in Beaumont, Texas, and proudly welcomes students from Lumberton, Nederland, Port Neches, Groves, Port Arthur, Orange, Vidor, China, Fannett, and other Southeast Texas communities.

  A: Simply click “Sign Up” on our website for the class that interests you.

• Q: How do payments work?

  A: Tuition is managed securely through My Music Staff, where families receive invoices and emailed receipts. Most families choose convenient online payments, but cash or checks are also welcome at the studio. If paying in person, please bring the exact amount, as I do not keep cash or make change.

• Q: Do you offer sibling or referral discounts?
  A: No! I have limited availability so at this time I do not offer sibling discounts.
